smide

SMall Integrated Development Environment

At the moment there is not much content on this site. But I work on it.

Look at the SourceForge.net page for smide at http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/smide for downloads and cvs access to the sources.

I've made some screenshots of the current early state smeditor. At the moment smeditor is only to demonstrate and test the packages I've wrote for smide, but it shows how powerfull smide can become. smeditor is a simple text editor with highlight support for serveral languages, such as ObjectPascal/Delphi, C/C++, C#, Java, ..., the ability to fold blocks in the sourcecode, marking simple syntax errors in code at typing, i.e missing end of string characters, invalid characters and escape sequences and multiple languages in one source file, i.e. HTML and JavaScript. smeditor supports multiple views for a source document. That means you can open multiple windows or multiple parts in a window of one document and edit the source at different parts. There is also a extensive configuration managment included, with exporting program options to the windows registry or an XML file or what ever you want. In spite of smeditor is in a really early state, you can use it as a full featured tool for writing code or edit html files.
At the moment there is only a german version of smeditor.
Look here for the screenshots.
And here you can download the latest release of smeditor.
Download developer build of smeditor (april 17, 2003).

Daniel
